INTRODUCTION

A medical degree from Armenia is recognized by the National Medical Council (NMC) and is also recognized by several international bodies like European Association, General Restorative Chamber UK, World Wellbeing Association, and several others. There is no requirement for any exams to study MBBS in Armenia. The admission procedure for MBBS in Armenia is quite easy. The cost of MBBS studies in Armenia is quite affordable and the cost of living in Armenia is quite low. There are several post-graduate programs that you can take up while studying MBBS in Armenia.

At present, 26 state universities (of which 4 international), and 33 private (licensed) higher educational institutions function in the Republic of Armenia. There are many types of institutions, such as universities, institutes, academies, and a conservatory, that provide higher education. The Ministry of Education and Science is the authorized state body for education and is responsible for developing and implementing state policy/strategy and for legislation in higher education particularly MBBS.

MBBS is taught in the English Language in Armenia. In fact, English is the second and the fastest-growing foreign language in Armenia. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• From 2018 onwards, qualifying NEET examination is mandatory for studying MBBS abroad.
• The student shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
• The candidate must secure 50% marks in their 12th standard from science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in CBSE / ISC or any other Equivalent Board of Examination.
